For members over the age of 30. Full members have unrestricted access to the golf course and Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. Members may sign in up to three guests at any one time at a reduced green fee rate, subject to availability and Saturday morning restrictions. Any one guest may only play a maximum of six times a year. (ie an individual may not be signed in by a number of members six times each). Full members are entitled to attend and vote at General Meetings.
A Transitional member has unrestricted access to the golf course and Clubhouse facilities around the normally accepted reservations and bookings for competitions and functions. This category has a discounted subscription rate to encourage younger golfers to stay or join the Club. Transitional members are entitled to attend the General Meetings but no voting rights.
We have an active and successful Junior section, with regular competitions. Juniors are encouraged to gain proficiency at golf and learn the rules and etiquette. They will be allowed to enter adult competitions on achieving an acceptable standard of playing ability.
If you live outside a 45 mile radius of Farnham Golf Club then this might be for you. Our new distant membership is perfect for those who are unable to visit Farnham Golf Club on a regular basis. As a distant member you will be restricted to 20 playing rounds in the playing year. Any additional rounds will be charged at the members guest rate relevant on the day. You are able to join in with Club events, Club Stablefords and Club Monthly Medals but not Honour Board competitions or Knock out tournaments.
Applicants must be affiliated to another club and hold an official handicap. Country members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings.
Farnham Golf Club welcomes Overseas Members. Overseas Membership is open to people who are not residents in the United Kingdom for more than 6 months in any calendar year. This membership enables those living outside the UK to play at a high quality golf course whilst in the country. As an oversea member you will be restricted to 20 playing rounds in the playing year. Any additional rounds will be charged at the members guest rate relevant on the day. You are able to join in with Club events, Club Stablefords and Club Monthly Medals but not Honour Board Competitions or Knock out tournaments. Overseas members are not entitled to vote at General Meetings.
Adult Academy is for those who are new to golf or returning after a long absence. The objective is for those in Academy membership to transfer into one of the playing categories as soon as they are ready. Academy members have a limited allowance of rounds on the course but full use of the Clubhouse and its facilities. They have no voting rights. As from the 1st May 2018 a joining fee may apply when upgrading to full membership.
Farnham Golf Club run a very successful junior Academy for children from the age of 5 upwards. We provide juniors with an opportunity to develop their golfing skills and have a great deal of fun putting those skills into practice at our regular weekend coaching sessions
